CAATS offers a broad range of training and qualification services to our clients. Most of our training courses are accredited which means that learners will achieve a nationally recognised qualification on successful completion of the course and assessment activity.
NVQs are available at a number of different levels and in a wide range of occupations. They are based on occupational standards set by sector bodies. Learners completing an NVQ are assessed in the workplace in a way which does not disrupt normal business operation. An NVQ level 2 is equivalent to GCSE level and can be completed in 12-16 weeks.
There is a very wide range of accredited short courses. They are often designed to meet specific skills or legislative requirements, such as the SIA Door Supervisor course. Short courses are usually taught away from the work place and have a formal assessment at the end, often in the form of a short test. They can last for anything from ½ a day to 5 days or more. Information on our short courses contains details of the length of the course.
Bespoke training is designed and delivered according to our clients’ specific requirements. We are experienced at designing and delivering bespoke training packages in a wide range of topics. Our bespoke programmes tend to be relatively short to ensure minimum disruption to operations. However, we can design and deliver training which lasts over a period of time. An example of this would be training to support a project or new way of working to be rolled out across the Company.

Community stakeholders recognise that the individuals who work to provide a safe and secure environment, must have a broad range of skills and a clear understanding of their role in supporting Community Safety Accreditation Schemes (CSAS).
